Overview
Kirkland is a suburb of Seattle although with the growth, it has almost become a suburb of Bellevue. Kirkland is located on the eastern shore of Lake Washington and features a unique downtown waterfront (the only Eastside downtown frontage along Lake Washington’s shoreline). The downtown area includes restaurants, art galleries, a 400 seat performing arts center, public parks, including beaches, and a collection of private art and sculptures. Kirkland is easy to access just off I-405 and lies just north of Bellevue and south of Bothell.

During the summer, local residents of neighboring cities enjoy Kirkland’s many waterfront parks on Lake Washington. Kirkland has many parks, including Saint Edward State Park, Bridle Trails State Park, as well as many other City and County Parks.
